Liquid Wire™ surface area sensors provide high-resolution data on contact, pressure, and deformation across large or irregular surfaces. Built with our patented Metal Gel™, these sensors stretch, flex, and conform to complex geometries while maintaining consistent electrical performance.
Unlike rigid arrays or traditional capacitive mats, our stretchable sensors can be embedded into soft systems—robotic skins, wearables, medical interfaces, or industrial safety equipment—where movement, curvature, and durability are essential. Moreover, the same Metal Gel™ conductor that measures strain can simultaneously transmit digital data on established protocols like I2C, USB, and SPI. The resistance and impedance changes are easily detectable but have negligible effects on digital signal transmission, ensuring no disruption to the electrical system's function.
